Assembly conditions
The following installation conditions must be observed:
- The cylinder must be positioned so that the cylinder is mounted in the air flow in front of the air filter in the air filter housing.
The Power Boost cylinder is installed in the air filter housing with two cable ties. The housing usually contains plastic struts to reinforce the air filter box. Two small holes can be drilled in these struts to allow the cable tie to pass through. The cable ties are then used to secure the O2 Power Boost cylinder in the housing. Alternatively, you can find other mounting points, as each air filter housing is designed differently.
